Well just over three weeks and there will be wind in my hair and bugs in my teeth. I am so happy to get out of the great frozen north. It had been nice here for the past few days and I had allowed myself to beleive spring was on the way....but nooo.....I woke up this morning and it had snowed buttloads.....aaarrrgggghhhh. I just close my eyes and keep repeating....wind in hair...Baja....sand......

Guinea pig
And you thought you were a sucker for punishment..... I just signed up to be a guinea pig. I just opened my big mouth and it happened. I was disillusioned with the gym here in town and was complaining to a friend that I was looking for something else. She is trying to get her personal trainer certification and yoga instructor and she was looking for a guinea pig to test everything out on.....so I volunteered. So far so good. I have had two sessions with her and although I won't be noticing anything drastic yet I sure am feeling muscles I have not felt in a long time.
My naturopathic doctor has put me on a cleanse which I have to start as soon as I get back from Jasper and the bike trip is not far off. By the end of April I should be a new woman.....or a pretzel we will have to see.

Hablo Espanol
Well.....I have been learning Spanish on line through a company called the
Rosetta Stone. It is a 3 month subscription and since we have less then 6 weeks before we leave I am trying to cram in as much as possible before we go. I think it is going pretty well. I am learning a lot of vocabulary and grammer. I understand quite a lot but at this point I don't know if I will be able to speak it. I will have to test it out on my friend Crystal who is from Mexico city, before I go. Here is Hobbes
